June has finally arrived and summer is just around the corner! That being said, I have already begun to plan different activities to keep the kids and I entertained during those long summer days. While we’ll be frequenting the beach and park quite often, I have tried to think of other activities that are both educational and fun. So as a sort of “test run” of said activities, I recently took the girls to visit the Lomita Railroad Museum. While I was super enthusiastic about our impending visit, Hayden (my oldest) didn’t seem to be thrilled with the idea. Lucky for me, her tune changed once we arrived. Read more
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, then you already know that this past Thursday we attended our first Dodger game of the season. It was also a memorable night because it was Holland’s very first game ever! Kind of a big deal for us since it’s become a little family tradition. Read more
So last time on my “Mommy Must Haves” series I shared my top swimsuits for this upcoming summer (if you missed it you can find it here). Well, this time I am going to continue our summer accessories discussion by covering beach essentials. If you live in Southern California then you know that summer and beach days go together like lemons and lemonade. You really can’t have one without the other. But I understand that as a mother with two little ones, having a beach day isn’t as easy as throwing on your bikini and grabbing your towel. Nowadays this fun little activity involves some planning and even packing. So with summer quickly approaching, I figured why not share my top beach essentials and make your planning that much less of a headache. So whether your plans involve hitting the beach or just taking a trip to the nearest lake or river, these are some products you are not going to want to leave home without.
Let’s get started!

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and I’m sure most of you are still wondering what to get the most important woman in your life. Sure, fresh flowers are always wonderful but they soon fade and cards end up getting tucked away and forgotten. So what do you get mothers on mother’s day? The answer is fairly simple, give them your time. I am sure most moms would agree that time spent with their loved ones and the memories they make is all they truly want. And what better way to commemorate that precious time than with a unique watch. Read more
We currently are experiencing some absolutely gorgeous weather over here in LA and I am loving every minute of it! Of course, with all this warm weather I can’t help but want to be outside. So the other day Holland and I decided to step out and enjoy all the sunshine by taking a little trip to see the Morrell House in Redondo Beach. Read more
Okay, so I have to admit, this post is mainly for me. It is always fun to look back and see where you have gone and where you want to go. And with everyone already talking about their summer plans, I figured why not share a little inspiration. So today I am going to be giving you a look into some of my past trips and talk about what travel destinations are on my bucket list. If you haven’t already planned your summer excursions, like myself, maybe this can give you that motivation you need. If anything, this may just add a few extra items to your own travel bucket list. Okay, so I may be jumping the gun, since it’s still April, but I want to talk about swimsuits. Before I had the little ones I LOVED buying bikinis. For me, finding the perfect bikini was like finding the perfect outfit. Anything from bandeaus, triangle tops, to Brazilian bottoms I wanted them all. And usually the tinier the bikini the better. Fast forward to today and my criteria for bikinis has totally changed. Read more
I can’t believe my oldest baby is SIX! She is growing up right before me and I’ll I want to do is make time stand still. But before I start crying, let us move on. Okay, so this year Hayden’s birthday fell on a Monday, the first day back to school after Spring Break. Not the best way to spend your birthday, but I guess when you’re in Kindergarten it doesn’t really matter. But still, I didn’t want her to spend the majority of her birthday at school. So when deciding what to do, as far as party plans, I figured why not just have a Birthday/Easter Celebration? That way we could have a full day of celebration and not worry about work or school.
